Our story begins in Ainata el Arz, a land where vines truly grow closer to the sky. At 1,800 meters above sea level, the highest vineyard in Lebanon and the Middle East, our grapes mature slowly under crisp mountain nights and sunlit days. This rare altitude gives them remarkable freshness, balance, and depth.
Only 30 kilometers away stands the grand Temple of Bacchus in Baalbek, built by the Romans in honor of the god of wine, agriculture, and celebration. This temple was not placed here by chance, the Romans knew that these mountains produced some of the finest vineyards of the Empire, wines worthy of gods and emperors alike. At Terroir de Bacchus, we carry forward this ancient legacy with every bottle we craft.
